A digital library is a special library with a focused collection of digital objects that can include text, visual material, audio material, and video material, stored as electronic media formats (as opposed to print, microform, or other media), along with means for organizing, storing, and retrieving the files and media contained in the library collection.
There are lots of digital library software by which we can store, handle and process digital materials. Some of the software are: 'DSpace', 'EPrints', 'Fedora Commons', 'Greenstone', 'Knowledge Tree', 'OPUS'. Here I have provided some tips and tricks to implement DSpace, some customization and set up of administration to work smoothly.
